St. Paul Real Estate Partner
We are not a giant, revolving-door brokerage/team. We are an intentionally small, high-producing team that’s been winning in the St. Paul area for a long time. The team leader, Shawn, has been in business 21 years. Deb has been running marketing for 20 years. Danielle has been managing transactions for 13 years. Rick has been producing here for 10 years. Anna has been with the team 4 years and is a great current example of what’s possible. That kind of tenure says one thing: the system works.
Because the team stays small, we can actually invest in the people we bring on. Agents get real leads, real training, and real support — not “here’s your login, good luck.” But that also means we can only bring in someone who’s serious about producing.
Here’s what we’re looking for, very clearly:
This role only works for someone who is highly available, highly responsive, an excellent communicator, and genuinely likes people.
That’s the winning profile.
Being highly available means the agent can take live Zillow connections, can show in the evenings and on weekends, and understands that buyers rarely operate 9–5.
Being highly responsive means the agent moves at Zillow/Flex speed — "Speed to lead"- minutes, not hours.
Being a great communicator means clients always know what’s happening, the lender and TC get the info they need, and the experience feels organized.
Loving people means the agent can host an open house, meet three strangers, and make all three feel taken care of.
The ramp: it’s a boot camp first
The team is very upfront about this: the first 60–90 days will feel like a boot camp. There’s a lot to learn quickly — Zillow Preferred/Flex flows, how to work Follow Up Boss the way the team does, how their open house system works, what “speed to lead” actually looks like, how to follow up the next morning, how to present as part of a veteran team, and how to work hand-in-hand with Danielle on smooth transactions. This intensity is by design — it’s what shortens the path to real income.
The advantage is that the agent is not starting from zero. The team already has real lead flow in Como Park, Roseville, Shoreview and Mac-Groveland, and there’s room to expand into more areas as production increases. So a new agent will be talking to real buyers quickly — as long as they’re available and responsive.
How this turns into six figures
-
the team supplies quality, high-intent opportunities (Zillow Preferred/Flex + open houses),
-
the team trains hard on conversion and follow-up,
-
the team already has the marketing and transaction infrastructure,
-
and the agent brings urgency, availability, and people skills.
The 3R standard
On every transaction, the goal is to create what the team calls 3R:
-
Review — the client is happy enough to go online and talk about the experience.
-
Respect — the client clearly sees the agent as a professional who added real value, not just “the person who opened the door.”
-
Repeat and Refer — because of that respect, the client comes back to the agent again and sends friends, family, or co-workers.
That’s the long game. Year one is mostly the team’s lead flow and training on how to find new business. Year two becomes the team’s lead flow plus the agent’s own repeat and referral business. That’s when the business really starts to compound year by year.
Who this is for
This position is a great fit for someone who wants to run hard for the first few months, learn directly from a veteran team, and build a real business — not just close a couple of deals. It’s not a good fit for someone who wants to stay part-time, who prefers slow follow-up, or who can’t work when buyers are actually available.
Thank you-
